[Journey] Online vs Offline

• Post loads of articles while I'm in classes
• Make manual Web 2.0's
• Build tiers with ZSubmitter and GSA
• Order some services on BHW
• Find guest posts to advertise on myself
• Find forums to genuinely post on
• Find a subreddit on Reddit, become known, and slip my site in occasionally

• The keywords I found range from $4.73 to $49 so it can pay a lot but many of them are Medium rank while only some are Relatively Easy
• Write articles and see how far on-page optimization can get me before I invest in it further

• Find businesses with terrible reviews
• Mail them and then follow up with a call after 2 weeks
• Find more businesses to mail
• Upsell them all on SEO services

• Find local businesses that use crappy Yahoo Hosting sites
• Offer them a simple free website and get them to sign up with my affiliate link
• Upsell them on Google Places and SEO

• Theme installed (my friend created an incredible review theme that I'm beta testing for him and his brother)
• Plugins installed: Akismet, All 404 redirect, All in One SEO, Contact Form 7, Google XML, iThemes Security (can't have a site without this), Statpress, W3 Cache, Websimon Tables, WordPress Hype Generator (get it on BHW)
• I've got hosting with Servikus so I'm not worried about having all of these plugins because the hosting is ridiculously fast

• Have website for my offline business already by the way, but just adding that in here

• Bought 40 envelopes from the dollar store for $1.25 (the ones you don't need to lick, what a deal)
• A 'confidential' stamp to get their attention (thanks originalposter)
• Printed business cards to put inside the envelopes to make it look professional
• Bought 40 stamps for $38
• Got red markers ready to go, time to print, prtscn, sign, and all of that tedious stuff

• Configured theme to phpbuilt's guide for on-page SEO
• Wrote 5 articles totaling 500+ words
• Made 5 manual Web 2.0's for 3 keywords each (total of 15) with 3 articles and pictures on each

• Installed WordPress but admin is giving me an error 'not found' so I'm gonna message support to figure that out

• Packaged, signed, stamped 38 letters for now, I have way more businesses to mail still

• Found a handful of these websites with personal information and I'll be doing some emailing to them

• Wrote 3 articles
• Recorded some YouTube videos that I'm going to put on the channel and on the website

• In the process of looking for an Adsense theme that would look good with insurance niche. If anyone has any recommendations I'd be glad to hear them.

• Waiting to hear from businesses that I've mailed
• Changed the answering machine on my cell phone to make it sound more professional

• Made more posts on Web 2.0 to make them more authoritative
• Ordered BHW service
• Ordered Fiverr guest post with my own article PR6
• More Keyword research
• Getting 20 unique visitors daily without any service ordered so my on-page SEO must be decent
• Found some places to guest post so will be contacting webmasters

• Got some calls from a private number so maybe someone is trying to figure out who I am
• Not any calls since last update, I targeted dentists, walk in clinics and gyms.
• Working on new leads in better occupational fields

• I'm ditching it and instead starting another Amazon website

• Domain purchased from GoDaddy for 99 cents

• Got a call from a business yesterday but couldn't contact them so just called them back
• Still new to this phone conversation so don't know how well it went
• They have a system for leaving reviews so I let them know about the review funnel and that got his attention
• He said he will talk to his supervisor and get back to me

If you do manage to get a call from your potential client (or return their call and they pick up), try to briefly and professionaly explain who you are and what you are offering, but don't forget that the entire purpose of this phone call is to get an appointment with them.
Since you're not yet a professional telemarketer and they know little about you / your service, your chances of selling them your service will be exponentially bigger if you can talk to them in person; so don't forget to push the appointment and keep the conversations as short as possible.

Since you're also doing amazon affiliate marketing this is a great example; when you get people to visit your website you'll want them to go to amazon as quickly and with as little detours as possible (exept for when you're targetting purely informational keywords or very expensive products) since Amazon.tld will usually be a lot better at pushing your visitors down the sales funnel.
