Hey!!! This journey will tell the story of a desperate man escaping his worthless life. That’s why it’s a true journey.

I haven’t been able to successfully complete an online marketing project for many years and I quit it mostly, years ago. My online ventures and businesses went downhill, and I got tired of everything related to IT. A lot of bad family and health issues happened. I had to leave home.

As I mentioned in some of my previous threads, I discovered the tourism and hotel business 5 years ago. They provided me with a staff room, meals, salary, and insurance, and I was in the best holiday resorts in my country. Still, it was a very tough life. Sometimes bad rooms, rude people or managers or bosses, too many bad incidents, and incredibly low salaries in this country, which is struggling with a severe economic crisis and high inflation. I could never afford my own house or car with these jobs. I still continue doing them just to avoid becoming homeless, just for food and a roof on my top.

But once upon a time, I managed to succeed in internet marketing. I even developed and sold my own software. I have a solid foundation. I couldn’t quite keep up with the new era. However, I will try to use what I have to escape this difficult life, rent my own place, and gain my freedom.

I’ve been working for a week now to start somewhere. I’ve put together a few small things. In this journey thread, I won’t share any website or project names. So please don’t ask.

In this thread, I will explain what I’m trying to do, maybe get some new advice from you, learn new things, and hopefully contribute to others as well. I hope to see the days when I earn solid income online once again. Working for low wages at other people’s businesses is an exhausting lifestyle.

First week of my journey:

After years, I finally spent money on a domain with a .com and hosting. I gathered my old code from my software archive and developed a package program containing 15-20 simple tools. I launched the sales site. It has a blog section which will have AI generated articles, and the homepage is the software sales page.

I submitted my WordPress-based website, including all sublinks and pages, to Google Search Console to get it indexed. And all pages are indexed now.

I promoted the site a bit on Twitter, active Facebook groups, and Reddit pages. So far, I’ve attracted about 60-70 unique visitors. For the first time in years, I started taking my work seriously and made a start somewhere and finally took some serious action. However, I don’t think this small project will bring much profit. Yes, it’s a nice little piece of software, but the dollar is very strong in my country. Even earning $300-500 a month would be a big boost for me at this stage. So you can suggest me more ways to promote it. Because for now, I even doubt it can bring this amount of bucks for now.

Besides that, I will continue researching and learning new methods, techniques, and projects to adapt to this new era, it can be anything online to make money, AI related ways, CPA, affiliate marketing, it doesn't matter. I am also trying to learn to develop cloud/web based apps, which can be used from any system by just a browser, from anywhere in the world, and as you see most apps are web based these days.

I will keep this journey thread updated to motivate both myself and you because my life is really messed up right now.

One day, I will escape this slavery life. I believe in it. I can do it because I have al
ready succeeded once.

Wish you the best for your journey, you have total potential to reach success again, keep us updated

Your story is really inspiring, and it's great to see you diving back into online marketing. You've made some solid progress already, especially with your software and website launch.

The $300-500/month goal is definitely achievable with time and persistence. Keep at it, and remember, every small step is progress. You've succeeded before, and you can do it again. Best of luck with everything. You’ve got this! :)

Thank you all for the encouragement! It really means a lot. I know the road ahead won’t be easy, but I’ve been through tough times before, and I’ll push through again.

Right now, I’m focusing on improving my site’s traffic. It’s a slow process, but I’m committed to it. Also always researching on new things what I can do more.

Your words remind me that every small step matters. I’ll keep going, and hopefully, this time, I’ll build something even more sustainable. Appreciate the support!

This time, this is a serious journey to "save my life." So, it will be the most important journey of my life. No matter how hard it is, I have to succeed to regain my freedom and rebuild my life.

I will always keep this journey updated with news and new developments. So this journey can be an information and inspiration resource for newcomers also.

By the end of this journey, with all my foundational knowledge, experience, and hard work, I might find myself in a completely different world - able to do things I never could before.

Yay!!!

Just made my 3 sales which is worth at like $100 in total. And it is like working for 5 days in my job. See? Just a few digital sales and it is already more powerful than my offline job's daily income.

Years after, finally some serious project has been activated. And made some online sales. Not much maybe, and don't know if I can get much more visitors, however, this seriously shows some potential.

My real goal and first dream is to get like $3-4k in total at first, so I can probably quit my job and rent my own place and focus on my skills and online projects. Because I will have much more time and energy. Physically and mentally.

In my offline job, my yearly salary equals to $8800 only according to my calculations. So getting just that amount of money means I don't have to work for a year so I can be a free man again. My own job, own free life.

2 things at the moment:

- Still researching other projects and ways

- Still trying to promote this software sales website by active Facebook groups, reddit, some AI articles, a little bit of email marketing and I also post on some related platforms so people can click the link in the signature and profile. This will not just get visitors but also create some related backlinks. And AI helps a lot to generate all the promotion texts.
