[Journey] Make $125,000 in 24 hours through e-commerce

Very interesting journey! Im was just researching doing similar things for Black Friday myself, this is great stuff!

The Amazon SEO part, will u be ranking the Amazon listings themselves or affiliate sites?

Lycka till :)

Hello, really nice journey..
Thanks for being so transparent. I am definitely applying few of your methods with my ecomm website, let's see if I could duplicate the results :)
However, Zapier is really confusing me...
Good luck!

Current rankings:

I expect these to go up middle of next week.

Next step is to contact sites that are already ranking for extremely converting keywords ("Black Friday Deals" etc) and try to put them on a premium affiliate plan (20% commission).

The way I set it up is:
1) Zapier detects lead from Facebook
2) Zapier post data to my server
3) I send email from my server (using Mandrill/Mailchimp).

You CAN do it all through Zapier I believe (e.g detect lead on Facebook, and then send the email from Zapier), as they have integrations with mail services.
Thank you very much. Made it with email by Zapier!
Keep going bruh

oh my this will be quite interesting to see unfold.
good luck, I'll be here looking for your nuggets.

Awesome! Zapier have some nasty limits (10.000 "zaps" per month), so I'll be looking for an alternative shortly or build my own. Will keep you posted :)

Thank you for sharing this, it's truly inspiring (and it's something real :). Good luck with the keywords, e-mailing and stuff. Definitely following your progress :)

BTW, I had one question for you... :
How did you manage to share us your giveway ad post on previous pages?
I tried to share mine, but people cant see it. After googling this, it seems that's because they are not part of the audiences I targeted.
How did u get through this?

What about your audience narrowing? Did you make it?

Cheers

You mentioned building your own service for detecting leads and then emailing. Would you use python plus flask to do that ? I'm diving into the automation and ai with python / flask and am looking for project ideas. Plus awesome business planning btw. Glad you are already (+) on ROI

Update on yesterdays work-session:

Total spent on ads: $38
Total leads (emails): 639
Total new followers on Instagram: 389

--

Cost per lead: $0.05
Cost per Instagram follower: $0.09

--

I would say it's very successful so far. Will do a bit more tweaking tonight to qualify the leads better.

Emails are dropping in constantly which means funnel is working and definitely getting good traffic. Got 1 order so far from the campaign ($279) so we're already earning.

How do you come up with your sales email sequence? How many do you send out per lead and how frequent?

Might be a stupid question but, what would you recommend for a new e-commerce website when it comes to choosing an option for advertising a product via facebook ads? So far doing conversions? Is that any good?

Hello Emil,

I really like your journey and the way you're building your brand,
I have a question:
After you send the first email to the leads (Via Mandrill), do you add them to a list on Mailchimp via the Mailchimp API or Zapier?
Normally you should send them some emails before the Black Friday, is it possible to reveal your email sequence?

From my experience, you can get some nice results for your brand using Reddit Ads, I've tested something similar to what you're doing (A giveaway) and I got some nice results,
What I did is :
- building a simple form on the website (First Name, Email).
- after registration is done, the script will redirect the user to a thank you page with some instructions (Follow the Fb & Instagram profiles)
- I add the person to a Mysql database so I can pick the winner later
- I use the Mailchimp API to add the person to the newsletter list (Mailchimp)
- I send an automatic email after 15 min to encourage them more to follow the social media profiles (I don't know why but the little-delayed emails always works best for me than instant emails)
- I create 2 custom audiences on FB: People who visited the registration form and didn't register & people who visited the registration form and completed the register (So I don't miss anyone).
- Then I create a similar ad to yours for the first audience
- The second audience will see different ads from my eCommerce website

for what I see I'm managing to get leads for $0.03, and at the same time, I'm getting a lot of followers.

The only thing that I should improve is SEO,
Can you recommend any whitehat agency that can manage everything?

if you need some help with Reddit Ads, I can give you some little tricks (It's a little complicated), but I'm sure you'll get some nice results there considering your niche.

There is so much gold in this thread, it's insane! @yakuzaemme I think you're gonna kill it this Black Friday. As someone who's built a moderately successful watch brand, this thread just shows what I missed out on with my marketing strategies. I'm gonna try and replicate it as much as I can and revive my store. I had another strategy in mind where I'd use Manychat for the watch giveaway but this seems more fine tuned.

I've gotta say, this is the first journey thread that's got me all fired up in years here. I'm gonna be watching closely. Keep crushing it man!

you said that you dont need much money for any project. So with this watch company, how much you spent for bulk ordering in the begining?

Beautiful product. Very understated and minimalist.

There is still some time till we hit BF/CM. Will see what my budget allows by then.

Hi Emil

Huge Congrats on your continued success.
You deserve it all.

And to everyone that is currently not making zero .
Please look at this guy and what he has måde, and is making of himself.

That's called commitment!
No sleep.
Tons of stress.
No excuses.
Just work, study and repeat.

Thanks for sharing,

Following.

Great inspiring journey and I have to say that I enjoyed the few blog posts that you have on your site as well. Hopefully there is more to come :)

In Ad Manager, just to go the ad, and on the top-right corner there's a dropdown (called Links). Copy "Facebook Links with Comments" and you'll get the actual post url :) Will share the audience shortly!

The detection of the leads is something I don't do, I use Zapier for this. And for emailing, anything really. If you go with Zapier for the first step, there's an option to use that for emailing as well (together with Mailchimp), which is a setup that's easy to create.

How do you come up with your sales email sequence? How many do you send out per lead and how frequent?

For these new leads, just one email has been sent out (asking them to reply to email). I will then put one of my VAs to create a spreadsheet with email-address and whatever their reply was (watch model), so we have these documented, imported into FB/AdWords, so we can target the ads based on the watch model.

I'll send another email in a month or so just to remind them, but then the one after that will be for Black Friday. I haven't really got the time yet to create a proper email campaign (newsletters etc). Have you had any luck with it 2018?

Conversions is good, if you choose the right conversion objective. I've found best success to choose an objective that has 50 events or more per week. So if you target Purchases, but only have 5 a week - you're going to confuse Facebook. Instead, target AddToCart or ViewContent.

I add them using the Mailchimp API. Haven't created the email sequence yet, will update here once that's done :)

Your funnel looks great- good job! Would love some pointers on Reddit Ads, feel free to share in this thread! Thanks man!

Go get yours man! It's definitely a competitive niche - but you just have to be a bit creative and do things other brands don't, and you're set. Best of luck!

Somewhere between 60-100k - but that includes video renderings, photography, licenses etc.

Thank you so much for this awesome share. Best of luck for your target!
I'll carefully follow it.
