[Journey] Make $125,000 in 24 hours through e-commerce

How much sales did you make from your initial email campaign with FB Lead Ads?
Great journey thread btw!

So all in all - it didn't go as planned. I'm not mad, I'm quiet excited about it because it means we can do even better next year. I certainly learned my lesson and will do my best to make sure we're better suited for next year.

What lesson did you learn, I hope its not to put all your eggs into a basket called Google SERPs.

I gave up SEO back in 2014 and never looked back. DIE SEO, DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! #Ads4Life

Thanks!
Earnings - spendings is about $40k so far.
Hi,

Still impressive numbers! But anyway - these are sales, what is real pure profit for you? I suppose those watches cost something to produce, dont they? :)

Haven't analyzed all data yet! Will check once I have :)

Well, I didn't put all eggs in one basket. After all, $50k+ was sold within 24 hours, and that's not from nothing.

My estimation in this thread ($125k) was based on us keeping our SERP rank - which failed miserably (position #4 now - thanks Google). After all, I'm still happy with it all :)

Profit (earnings minus spendings) is about 45k so far. And yes, watches, shipping, logistics - all that stuff costs money too. For obvious reasons I cannot disclosure our margins on a public forum - but lets just say it's a industry with great margins :)

@yakuzaemme i'm glad you are still around. I was following your journey with great enthusiasm. Thanks for sharing!

interesting niche. You only spent about 3.2k ? No matter if you achieved your goal, you really got a nice ROI anyway !

Following along. Wishing you all sorts of luck and success on this. Will check in soon!

that's a good journey - and Christmas is around the corner, so you'll be ok ))

Hey Emil. That's an amazing thread you got. It looks like you found a winning formula that lets you dive into a new niche and crush it. That's a true entrepreneur spirit. Finding problems, solving them and get rewarded.

I would like to ask you how do you fulfill your orders? Do you use Amazon multichannel fulfillment?

How can you deliver worldwide with fast shipping time?

Thanks

Much appreciated

Sorry for the slow reply.

Yes, Amazon FBA has been a lifesaver. Currently have storage in US (+Mexico), UK (all of Europe), Canada and Australia. For those few orders that Amazon can't fulfill, we ship from Sweden with express shipping.

I just got notified about this thread from your recent reply.

Sorry you didn't hit your target goal Emil, but it sounds like an awesome learning experience for you!

I had a question - if you were to break down (approximately) where the sales/revenue split came from over Black Friday, what would the split look like?

For example:
Reddit 20k
Google/SEO 10k
FB 12k
IG 11k

Be really interesting to see :)

Good luck for your next target

@yakuzaemme I know this journey is a couple years old but after reading it I'm totally blown away by your efforts. Thank you for writing all of this to share with us!

One question is lingering with me, and I'm DYING to know the answer:

You cited strong competition and possibly ads as the reason for the crash in rank. Have you ever seen anything like this before or since? Has anyone?

My mind is totally blown by the fact that such a fast move in ranking is even possible. Is this something that can happen consistently?

So much of SEO revolves around waiting long periods to see results from any given effort to rank. A quick, targeted rise like this is just so outside the norm from the research I've done on the topic that my mind is absolutely blown. Am I just a total noob and this is commonplace when you compete at such a high level?

Good question. I did a quick check now - spent is about $3200 (give or take).
Earnings - spendings is about $40k so far.

That's still super impressive. You must've crapped your pants of excitement. You made around 12 TIMES what you invested!! Most people would be happy to have a 2x return!

Hope you will answer. For payment gateways.. they didn't block or ask for further ID's since with a profit that was sudden (in their eyes) ?

Just seen this thread for the first time. Really amazing work with some great numbers. You may not have hit your goal and but you still killed it with the ROI. I'm sure your starting work for next year already!
