I actually stopped commenting, posts increased my traffic way more and so much less effort. Still adding value in posts and making sure there is no hint of sales.

Did you try facebook pixel?
With so much traffic you coud easily use lookalike audience and get even more sells

Update 10:

Crazy day. Crazy, crazy day. 5.8k page views, 4.7k UV. How insane is that? I only posted in the facebook groups once yesterday. I didn't want to get greedy when the traffic was already so damn good. This amount of traffic literally exists at the whims of these facebook group admins. I hate that.

442 clicks yesterday with 22 sales. :) Not too bad! Ordered revenue was $305. So around $17 for me.

My main problem now is trying to figure out how to not be reliant on facebook groups for all my traffic. I added a link to my Pinterest to the top of the website and that has gained me some followers. Luckily people are sharing the shit out of my content on facebook and pinterest. I added share buttons to everything and some of my content has 65+ facebook shares and 20+ pins on Pinterest.

I also decided to make my own facebook group. Growing it seems like a real challenge since you can't just mass invite people. I added a link to it at the top of my page and also on my sidebar to join my facebook group. This might hurt me when facebook group admins check my links before they approve my posts if they see me recruiting for my own group. So fingers crossed.

Continuing to add content. I'm adding something today that I think people will really enjoy. Excited to see the response to it. :)

Haven't worked on linkbuilding, but I'll do some outreach today.

Still waiting on a response from an ad network. :(

So my traffic took a nosedive off a cliff over the weekend. Trying not to be discouraged, because it's still good traffic! 1200 views on Saturday and 1500 on Sunday. Not really sure why, I thought I posted some great stuff in the groups. Oh well.

My main issue right now is that unless I go blackhat, the traffic from facebook groups just isn't sustainable. Admins are going to start recognizing me always promoting the same website and start banning. Some already have. I've been banned from probably 10 out of the 50 some groups I found. I need to find good USA aged facebook accounts with filled profiles. The admins have to accept you into the groups and they've seen enough spamming accounts to know what they look like.

Any suggestions of good sellers on here for that?

Beyond that, I decided to just grow my own facebook group. I added links to it on the website and have started measaging Instagram followers to see if they want to join. In 2 days I now have 100 members. Once I hit 1k, I should start seeing some organic growth of the group I think. Just need to grind out inviting people. I'm not going to poach members from groups I'm in since I don't want to shit where I eat.

Instagram account hit 3.1k followers and is growing nicely. I get a little traffic from Instagram, but nothing to write home about.

I think Reddit is a dud. I made a second Reddit post and this time it blew up. Over 1k upvotes, it's been at the the top of a huge subreddit for 2 days now...and I got ~50 clicks. Oof. Subreddit rules mean I have to put the content in the comments, so no one clicked on the actual link. Oh well. I'll keep Reddit in my back pocket, but I won't focus on it.

As far as linkbuilding, I still haven't done outreach yet. I'm not in a great financial situation atm, but that will change in about 3 weeks. Should be able to buy some links then. Also no update from either Adsense or my niche specific ad network, so not making money from a lot of this traffic. I'm at 79 sales though and made like $55 so I cant complain.

Still need to get that ebook finished so I can monetize traffic looking for info. I think I'm going to relax a bit on posting in the groups. Going to keep adding content to the site and once I'm approved for ads and have some extra facebook accounts, I'll resume. :)

So after having an amazing day and thinking I wouldn't hit that high again for a while...I proceeded to have an even better day. 3.4k page views and 2.7k UV. Crazy. Sales were ok yesterday, a bit fewer affiliate link clicks. Total of 32 sales as of the end of yesterday.

I got banned from 2 groups for self promotion, but they were smaller groups so I don't really care. Trying to stay on admins good side and only post twice a day. One in the morning and then evening. Made one post in all the groups this morning. Already at 2k page views and its not even noon.

Already 8 more sales today. Someone clicked one if my links and then at some point spent $63 on some lawn equipment. Easiest $5 of my life.

I applied for a niche specific ad network now that I have the minimum traffic numbers. Screw adsense. Hopefully they approve me!

Still need to figure out Pinterest :(

I will continue reading to see if you got approved for the upgraded ad network.

Might want to consider starting your own Facebook group now. Takes a while to build up.

Another method I found successful in posting to Facebook groups is to post a non-linked post first. After that gets approved you can go back in and add a link in a comment. I also used to add a meme picture. After the meme gets approved you can go in and change the picture and update the picture. So first I would post a meme and then I would go back and re-post it with my URL on the bottom of the picture. So far no problems with this method.

You should consider a contest to get people to sign up for your Facebook group.

The ad network is niche specific and has similar requirements to Ezoic.

However, I make it a point to ALTERNATE between posts from my site to posts of links from other sites

OP, have you considered getting a mailing list together so you're not as reliant on FB Groups?

Smart! Yes I have a mailing list, but it's small atm. Will be using a small ebook to grow it. Give it away for email list sign ups.
 
Your Traffic is so awesome man :) My Site is just starting to show in serps but I think it will take awhile to get to that traffic but we will see. I am hoping my traffic will convert really well once I get the site fine tuned.
