I'm opening this journey thread to track my progress, gather advice and share what I learned with such tricky offers that e-mail submits are.
The network of my choice is Maxbounty, mainly because it has weekly payouts, and I already have a good relationship with my affiliate manager.
The offer of my choice was a One field National Consumer Center Email submit which pays $2.40 per lead, mainly because of its stability, it has been running for years and I know it converts.
The biggest challenge with such offers is to make them convert. What I mean by that is that the advertiser simply won't pay if they already the user e-mail in their database, and their database is HUGE.
I'm running paid ads to my landing page, more precisely Facebook ads. I built a questions landing page on Purelander and hosted on my dedicated server.
My setup is pretty much a landing page which asks 3 questions, with YES or No answers to warm up the users. When the user finishes, he is asked to enter his e-mail address, which I save to my SQL database for reuse later and send it pre-popped to the CPA offer. In case you don't know, pre-pop is basically pre-filling the CPA offer field.
On average I'm seeing a 10-15% CR , which may sound okay, but the fact is that since I send it pre-popped, all users should convert, but in reality they already have most e-mail and won't pay me.
I've been running this offer for a while, with a $10 budget. Currently, the results are not good, I've been breaking even or at a small loss. Since I track conversions offline, I noticed that most e-mails that convert are anything other than gmails. For some reason gmails seem to not convert that well. i think there is room for optimization and I'll be able to eventually profit from this. If anybody have any questions, advices, please comment below! I'll try to update it as often as I can. If I don't update in a while, it's because most likely I gave up. Cheers and till the next update.
