Hello everyone, my business partner and I have come up with an idea for a membership based web app we plan on starting. I figured it would be fun to start a journey thread on here so that all of you can follow along with us and learn exactly how we do it.
To give you some background, I am a web developer by day, and my business partner works at at a business analytics and marketing firm. So we make a good team with these sorts of projects.
We plan on launching a web application where users can register for a free account and have access to a dashboard area with available offers they can complete quick and easy for money. They can cash out once they hit a minimum payout threshold.
We will get all the offers from OGads and make money whenever an offer is completed. I will use OGads postback URL tool to track the completed offers to the users account and credit them. We will only payout about 50% of what we get paid per each offer and pocket the remainder. We have a Facebook page with 100K likes all set up to start promoting it, as well as multiple Facebook groups and other social accounts.
We figure if we can get over 1000 members, and each member averages 1 offer every 2 days, that's $500 a day for us. And since we have no physical product to deal with, the sky is the limit when it comes to scaling big.
So the big thing we need to figure out before launching is our marketing plan and branding. I will start developing the app over the next few weeks (I am using the php framework Laravel) while my partner starts mapping out our marketing funnel and ad strategy.
