Journey: Buzzfeed clone

Hello,
I live in an Big European Country and had my first contact to IM in 2008. Back then I was just done with the Middleschool, and had no clue how to built a website. But I bought a book about Affiliate Marketing.
But as most of us, I gave up due the lack of knowledge how to build a website.

In the following years, I studied Computer Science, which I completed in 2015. But I have trouble to find a Job. Most Companys tell me, that I dont have enough knowlegde. So they only offer me upaid Interns, which I reject.

In January 2017 I started to receivce Social Welfare, cause I could not pay for my Health Insurance any longer.

Now it's time to make some money to get back to a normal life.


My Journey:

After reading for weeks, I realized that it is pretty easy to earn some Money online. And cause I live in an non english speaking country, I can copy some of the Ideas, and translate them into my language.

I decided to go with a Buzzfeed clone. List-style news, without depth.

What I already did:

- Bought a "Dedicated" Vserver, for Wordpress -15 Euro per Month

- Bought a Domain -12 Euro per Year

- Bought a Viral Style Theme for Wordpress - 50 Euro


The content comes from Buzzfeed, BoredPanda, Diply and similar Sites.
Each Article will translated into my language.

To prevent duplicate content on Facebook, I use a Hash Changer Tool, I wrote by myself, cause there is no one for mac.

I plan to write 4 articles per Day.

Also I made a Facebook Page, to send traffic to my main page.

For monetizing I don't have plans right now. Maybe Adsense?
First I want same growth and traffic, before I think about making money.

Ok, I spent the last two days working on my Mac HashChanger tool. I added some more Features:

Feature-list:

- change Hash
- change Name
- convert PNG to JPG
- select whole Directory

I will release it here soon.

Update:

The page and facebook site are now running. But there is no Traffic at all.
I bought a few Facebook Ads for a few Bucks.
Now I got Traffic, but no Likes.
That means, when the Ad campaign is over, the traffic will go back to zero.

So I added a Content Locker. Users now have to like, to see the content.
And it seems to work. The first few likes.

How did you add a content locker on Facebook to force them to like a page before seeing the content?

Buy some fake page likes around 5-10k also 100-200 post like,just to show new users that your page is active, then post a new articles from your site promote it with FB ads if possible keep fb clickjacker so page likes also will increase with traffic. Atb

Congrats on your journey. I'm starting my gallery/listicle site too. I will try to monetize with Adsense but I really afraid of banning. Maybe I can use content.ad if they accept.
Can you explain why you need HashChanger tool? Facebook doesn't like copied pics? Is there any case like that?
How did FB ads go? Budget, CTR price and clicks?
Can you ive an advice for a WP theme?
You can message big pages for a sponsored post price.

I don't know how that is on facebook, but I feel more secure using a HashChanger

I only tested small Budgets. 5 Dollar and less.
CTR depends on content. Right now I only do ads for single posts.
Some have 15%.
If they are below 8% I quit the campaign for the post.
If you got a CTR from 10% you will pay 10 cents per click.

Ok some Updates now. I tried to get along with Facebook and FB ads, but it doesn't work. Facebook Ads are too expensive for me right now. Best results I could achieve is 0,01 cents per click, on Facebook ads. But 100 Visitors per Day don't bring me any Money.
On Facebook it's nearly impossible to get any reach without paying.

Yesterday I started using Twitter. I wrote a simple Test tweet (Link, Image and a few hashtags), And over the night I got 100 impressions and 9 clicks and 1 retweet, without paying a $.
That's 10x more than 1 week of organic Facebook traffic, for only 1 tweet!!!

I think I will spent more work on Twitter now. Maybe I will try G+ too.

I made a different test on Facebook today. I posted a Video directly on FB, and put a link to my page in the description. I boost (facebook ads) this video and the results are 3x better than boosting normal post. But unfortunately the users don't click on the link. I spent 3 Dollar for the Boost, got 900 Video views, and only 2 people came to my page.

@Dayfuse I start doing exactly same thing as you a year ago and I want to share my knowledge and experience with you

1) Start LikeJacking
There is lot of usefull plugins, which could convert your traffic into likes. It is powerfull in combination with social locking. There is a guy @shezboy who sells awesome wordpress plugin to do this

2) Build more facebook pages
You should convert your traffic into likes in multiple facebook pages. I have 20 pages, all of them under 20k facebook likes, but they are powerfull. They make 30 - 40 dollars daily (Adsense + Adnow - only native advertisement system in my country)

3) Dont buy facebook ads
It is not profitable at all (for me), instead of this spend some money on some automatic system like massplanner to scheduling your posts and activity.

4) Stay focused
You only need traffic. Dont waste your time and energy with hashing images and other stuffs. Dont blow your mind with these tasks.

5) Try to find pages to cowork
Send a message daily to 30 - 40 facebook pages and ask them to cowork with you. You should give them 50% of your income on adsense. Give them some numbers and ask them for share.

6) Do a group post
Post your links to groups on the same niche. Ask your friends for their fake profiles and put them into massplanner. Dont try to scale group spamming too much, it is really hard these days and you have to spent too much time on this.

GROUP POSTING + COWORK WITH PAGES = BOOST YOUR PAGES WITH LIKES + CASH FOR EVERYONE
