Welcome

I will be documenting my YouTube content locking adventures, for the motivation of myself and benefit of others!

I am an amateur at blackhat, but I am loving it so far, and starting to make some small money... but still money!

- The only software I`m using will be TubeToolbox

- I will also be backlink building for my website, probably just slowly with manual article submissions

- My eBooks provide solutions to "Problems" or "Concerns" as most eBooks should.

But my site is a long way from ranking in its keywords.


Week1 - Starting Monday 28th November

Private Messages sent: roughly 700
Video share messages sent: roughly 1,000
Friend requests sent: roughly 200
Total CPA Earnings: $3
Total Adsense Earnings: $0
YouTube Adsense Earnings: $1.76

Week Summary~

Next week I will record more accurate figures as to what messages etc I am sending out. But this week I have jumped around different methods within the software.

It may seem like I have a terrible message - CPA converstion rate, but you have to remember, messages are not read straight away.

Also my content locker was broken for a day or two

Indeed. Even if you aren't hugely successful, you learn. That does lead to success.

Just checked my adsense, and had some earnings from that also =)

But yeah, i`m just learning, but like you say, once I nail it then i`ll be making good money!

I want this Journal to show real progression

Good luck man i have a journal up and running at the moment too with content lock and youtube. We should talk and share ideas sometime

4.76$ for the first week it's something that should motivate you because you got some cash from the method and now you can duplicate the sucess.

Cheers peeps!

Not sure why I can`t edit post again... but I`ve had another $1.10 lead today =P

Now focusing on ranking up my site. When I first decided on my keywords I really didn`t understand what I was doing. I have now properly analyzed and drilled down on an easy rankable keyword.

So I will be building backlinks to that with AMR most likely, the keyphrase seems ridiculously easy to achieve so I hope to be getting some good traffic soon!

I'm a actually using adscendmedia's content gateway, they do provide a content locker, but I couldn't install correctly as they have zero documentation. For those who don't know, a gateway is in essence a content locker that redirects to the URL you specify, but it's called a gateway as it is hosted on adscendmedia's site so it doesn't actually lock your own page, just provides the link to a customer when they complete an offer.

Content locker pro will be my first investment when I have my first good month!

Are you using any videos?
If so, rank them high up for the keywords and try to get organic hits. Those tend to convert well.

Yeah I have a video promoting the books, I am a semi- respected video maker so my other videos within the niche already attract views, so I will get natural views from people watching my other videos. But never thought about keyword ranking the sales video for some reason haha! So thanks I'll do that!

Okay week 2,

This week I will be focusing on ranking my new page on my website, I have decided that the method of sending emails/ share video messages results in hardley any conversions.

I sent about 2k+ messages in total, and the response was around 4 leads so far.

Thats a terrible ratio, and it requires me leaving my computer on all day to run the program. I don`t see this as effectice, and definitely not autopilot which is what I will be looking for.

So yeah, I will still post my weekly updates, but I do not expect to see a rise in leads for a few weeks, whilst I am ranking up the website.

But I am confident, I have found a few keywords that have very low competition but high traffic - which is what we all want =)

Next update will be the end of this week =)

Ok so I am reviving this thread as after stopping YouTube and moving onto micro niches, I spent about 3 weeks ranking my site to #10 and then G000g spanked it back to #40. I will continue to try and get it back to its normal rank, but hey we are here to make money, so its back to TubeToolbox and content locking!

I will be hitting it hard with TubeToolbox on a VPS 24/7 sending Video share messages constantly, and will probably do some channel comments also.

Aiming to hit 5,000+ video share messages a week.

This week so far: 850 Video share messages sent!
Total CPA Earnings: $1.18

If I make enough $ then I will buy more VPS's and send out even more messages, until I have an army =)

I have tested sharing videos to users with Tubetoolbox 2 weeks ago, I got many clicks but the conversions are really bad and it hurts my EPC

Yeah I did it a few months ago and didn't do too well, but now in doing it 24/7 on VPS I seem to be getting a decent amount of conversations. Gonna mix it up also with video comments and such =)
