Jeez, I never thought that they would actually end up doing it...

Over to proxy.org I'd say, atleast try it :P

At least you didn't get tracked...it happened to everyone in Ireland with that ISP...getting tracked would suck "EG: We noticed you were downloading this illegal application. Your internet has been cut off."

If proxies don't work, try newsgroups/usenet.

Yep it is so easy to bypass. HideMyAss .com does the trick nicely!

This is a mere political gesture to show that the Irish government are trying to do something about illegal downloading and copyright infringement.
What a joke!

you could use a private torrent client like torrentprivacy or a private tracker that's not blocked. Or you could just use a seedbox.

Anyway, I recomend just buying your music legally, because why would you SPEND MONEY on illegal music? Just buy it legally and it's so much easier.

Absolutely.

I stopped using torrents years ago. Switch to usenet. You pay $10 a month - but you're guaranteed full download speed on all files in the database. Plus 99% of all files uploaded are genuine. I don't think the authorities are even really aware of usenet, as it's not P2P.

I don't pay to use hidemyass.com and by illegal music i meant music torents that weren't created by music copyright holders.

that is too bad.why do they do like something like that? This has always been a problem in the US too - you know,it was between comcast and Fcc
