Hi,

Yesterday, I've just graduated with a mechanical engineering bachelor degree.
I over-estimated it in the past. But it is BS (max $250/m), even if I get an enginner diploma, it's useless (for me).

I discoverd IM last July, when my friend pointed AdSense in a discussion and the journey of research started. In November, I started a national calssified ads website which have failed (hard). But I'm glad it did. Thinking small social media campaigns will do the job, I discovered the term SEO and I learned to plan well the next time. Then, I discovered BHW in December by our same AdSense friend.

Anyway, I am in a consistent research of IM income sources and SEO techniques. However, being a Tunisian citizen, I am not allowed to have a PayPal account which would really help in purchasing SEO tools and services here in BHW. I am considering leaving the country (somehow) to work in offline jobs and use that money to test and start serious IM journeys.

Sorry for letting you read all of this. However, I can not mention everything because it will take a 30000 word thread. BUT if you were at my position, what to do next ?

P.S: I have plenty time and the will to learn more, apprach me if we can figure something out.

Regards,

A good start would be I believe is to get a job so you have security. Make some money so you can live and have some money to invest. In the free time read, try and test.

Put the diploma on a wall and look at it deeply.

Agreed. Even if its not directly in your deploma's field you need to try to get a job of a professional level (no service industry bs jobs). After you graduate you look like a total moron on your resume if you go years without a job. Will make it 10 time harder to enter the job market in 3 years if you never had a professional level "adult" job since graduation. They'll think you were lying around your parents basement getting high for three years. So go get something to put on that resume.

There's another member here from Tunisia I was helping out who uses a foreign friend's PayPal account in order to make purchases. Of course, that can be risky for obvious reasons, but it's just an idea.

Anyway, get a job first and then worry about online marketing later. You don't want to rush into it potentially only making pennies on Adsense for the first year and regret your decision later.

Get a job! Starting earning. Learn IM on the side and experiment.

SEMRush is a pretty nice tool for analyzing your competition. Their crawlers suck though.

By the way, I wouldn't care that much about those keyword difficulty tools. The best tool for checking whether a keyword is profitable & worth the ranking effort is your brain & gut feeling ;)

Believe me, I was and still thinking so, [my ranking strategy] I am thinking of using EMD with good content, some linkbuilding (which I have no payement method, hope I figure something out) and social traffic. Am I missing something ?

Well, you are in this forum as you may be interested in learning Digital Marketing. Though BHW is mostly about SEO, you can get started with SEO and then learn the tools of the trade and how to start and grow a business ;)

Later, you could be looking at selling your business! Then keep growing.

I would leave Tunisia but it's not that easy in all cases.Or get a job and try to automate your IM work.

For me it was like:
-finish engineering bachelor in home country while working and saving money
-get admitted to masters in Denmark
-live in Denmark on "saved" money until I get a job
-use the money from the job in Denmark and try IM stuff (maybe get some side income) until I finish masters and get a good job in Denmark
Maybe something similar may be applied to your situation.

You get a job or make plans for starting a business.
when starting a business you must have important ideas.

I would get a job first to have a steady stream of income. In the meantime, you can continue to focus on IM in free hours.
Regarding that paypal account, you can always create a stealth account. Simply create a US based paypal account and then buy VCC/VBA using bitcoin.
