Hello, I am fairly new to the forums, and have been into IM and SEO since the beginning of the year. I have a pretty good handle on most parts of SEO and IM, except getting those back links indexed! It's getting very frustrating! I have a local business that I have been trying rank higher for, and it has gone back and forth so much. I know some is to be expected. It's also been from Jan that I have been working on this, started off with like 11 back links. Ordered 1000 forum profile links, and saw it go up to 24 pretty quick. Its been 6 months now, and I have been up to the 30's, 40's, and even 59 about a month ago, and now I am back down to 24 back links! WTF! I scraped those 1k links that I did in January, and 300 are still good! Where are they? Let it happen naturally is BS! I use SeNukeX, and I am going to get paid linklicious soon, but thus far, have been pinging links, and using senuke indexer. I do seem to see increases, took a little hit in ranks after panda, and how slowly climbed again for that local business, but now 24? I just don't get it. Indexing is the hardest part of SEO, there has to be a better way. Any advice? Thanks.

Just put your links in linklicious and let it worry about pinging them..it will be automated...so you just put them in and forget about them, then start building more links.

Linklicious will get them crawled and getting them crawled will boost your SERPS..stop worrying about getting them indexed...that will happen naturally for a lot of them but shouldn't be your focus.

Your wasting your time worrying about something you cant even get an accurate answer on and that isn't needed to increase your SERPS. Indexing HELPS your SERPS..it isn't required...worry about things that are required like "Getting your links crawled".

While your spending time trying to get the links you had indexed (even though they are already crawled and giving you juice) You could of been spending time getting more backlinks created and crawled to boost your SERPS.

    :)

Thanks for the reply, that's kind of how I have been starting to think looking more into Linklicious, just get massive amounts crawled. Yeah I guess I never really knew that, so even though I have only roughly 24 visible back links, and not 324, I am still getting juice from those non indexed links? I heard SEO Spyglass was about the most accurate tool.

Yes, exactly..as long as those links are CRAWLED. As far as most accurate tool, there are a bunch..., but none of them are close to accurate. Generally they show A LOT less, but then again it may be just showing just a little less. (100s or 1000s)

What they give you is what they want you to see and weak people cling to it because then need something to measure what they are doing...they can't stand the waiting and so they sit by the computer using google webmaster tools or SEO spyglass checking their indexed links hoping its gone up so that they can sit back and breath for another two minutes before they go check again lol.

Here is a couple of case studies we did and sent out in a news letter.

    And another

Very awesome info, thank you very much. I see the light now, and I will stop checking SEO Spyglass every 2 breathes! LOL! Thanks again.

Just keep building backlinks and as mentioned above, don't check Spyglass and other tools every few minutes.

Its actually a rookie mistake, I used to do that religiously to (as well as check rankings hourly). As you get more and more used to SEO you begin to check your rankings and backlinks far less often.

Remember though that its all about backlink building consistently. Doing one Xrumer or similar blast isn't gonna get you very far. What you need to do is continually build links to your site, new content, and most of all be patient and give it time. SEO is something that requires patience.
