I'm currently working with an SEO Expert for the past 3 months, he sends me the Weekly update on the Spreadsheet where there are the tasks like Article Submission, Blog Submission Etc.

I've noticed discrepancies in the value of submissions made to various websites in the Report.

Some submissions are only findable through the provided link in the spreadsheet but not through direct search on the website or via Google using 'site/' search.

Additionally, some links on the spreadsheet does not Exit.

Is there any value of these submissions, and how I can optimize these efforts for maximum impact.

You should be asking your SEO expert first and get clarifications

As per my understanding, he may have published on sites where the articles are not yet indexed. Get to know from him, when will those articles be actually indexed on google for organic traffic.

he Said this " We are working on creating backlinks. Backlinks take some time to index on Google. Once they are indexed, they will be visible in Google search results. Some of the backlinks we created are indexed and now visible on Google. Some links are directly redirect to the website."

No one can advise on what to really do, since we don't really what kind of 'submissions' these are.

You should ask them any questions you, more importantly, ask them why some of the links are inexistent.

buy articles only from websites with real traffic and niche relevant to yours.
some guys are buying links and articles from 2¢ PBN networks that will eventually hurt your website.

Ask your SEO expert to replace dead links with active ones and confirm that submissions are on sites that Google hasn’t penalized
