VirusTotal is fine for themes/scripts but i've paid for my themes and its okay for long term usage.

What exactly is not working for you?
You can also search the website for your theme to check if it's safe.

This tool is not developed to check your website. You can either check the name of a theme to see if it's safe or upload the zip of your theme to this website.

Ever find a site to check shopify themes? I have basically every theme for shopify, but don't really want to use them until I find a way to make sure there is no malicious code in them.
