VirusTotal is fine for themes/scripts but i've paid for my themes and its okay for long term usage.

This tool is not developed to check your website. You can either check the name of a theme to see if it's safe or upload the zip of your theme to this website.

Unfortunately this tool isn't working for me. I tried many times with 2 different WP themes. Every time I upload a zip file I get this error:

Ever find a site to check shopify themes? I have basically every theme for shopify, but don't really want to use them until I find a way to make sure there is no malicious code in them.
