If you are willing to put extra time and effort into truly learning how to use the BH tools at your disposal, you can find better and better ways to emulate traditional link building to the point it is essentially white hat. It all depends on the amount of time and quality you are willing to put into your efforts. Bad BHSEO may tank a page, but bad WHSEO can do the same. It's all in the skill of the linkbuilder and their resources.

finally there is no BH and WH. today most webmasters are doing what 3 years ago was blackhat. the techniques called BH today are just automated WH and noob-ready techniques from the BH. true quality BH is not done by many. for that u need serious skills, experience, cashflow, research, time, etc. Splitting SEO into bh and wh is just silly and lots of noobs just jumped on these buzzwords and wrote articles about them trying to sound smart. i prefer to look at SEO in a different way - efficient SEO and inefficient SEO. i don't care what color it is, i dont care if it is in concordange with what google wants, i dont care if it is even ethical. if it works i do it.

you are 100% wrong in every way. look at the forum your on, its called Black Hat World. Please go back to warrior forum and learn a few things.
when it comes to SEO work SMART not HARD. blackhat is great for automating tasks that would otherwise take way to long to do by hand.
why submit to 10 directories an hour when a program can submit to 10,000 in an hour. that is just one example of many on why blackhat is a necessary part of any serious SEO campaign.
plain and simple if your doing everything manually your doing it wrong. now how much black hat and white hat you have in your seo campaign is up to you.

If you don't get caught, then BH all the way. If you do, then it is extremely bad. I've been caught before, and I'm still suffering it. So, don't use BH on anything but your own shit, and if you're looking after websites for other people keep it white hat.
