Hi, is this WordPress site professional enough for what I'm doing? I have little to no experience with making websites! Your thoughts are appreciated!:D

This should be in the sidebar in my opinion.. but ''better looking''

scrap meta & archives but keep recent comments, posts & possibly categories

tbh, if you have little experience in making websites i would check out a better wordpress theme, there are plenty in the download section or browse on themeforest, most have great looking layouts with easy documentation..

themes are just like flat pack furniture, you can do it with or without the instructions, but they are handy to have if you get stuck.

or, stick with what you have and keep asking questions on here, someone will help you out :)

I believe that is the sidebar! if you want that section out of your website you have 2 options:

1.get rid of the widgets in the Appearance > widgets and you just drag and drop everything in the side bar out
2. go to appearance> editor and look for a code that looks like get_sidebar and delete it

I like the way it is at the minute but I'm just wondering what other peoples opinions on it are before I start marketing it and getting more traffic! Thanks for the information and feedback though! I appreciate it all. :)

Yeh, it is a sidebar on the home page.. which is where it is supposed to be, article shop it is under the content lol

EDIT: i would also remove comments from Cart, Track Your Order, My Account, Checkout but enable them on Article Shop.. i don't see the point in having comments enabled on those pages, but i guess on article shop people could comment to ask questions

It looks good. You can check the themeforest bazar theme for online store. I have bought that theme before if you need this I can give it to you.

Never done a guide before but here goes!

Step 1:
Log in to you installation of Wordpress (yoururl/wp-admin)

You should see this:

Step 2:
Click Appearance on the left, followed by Widgets.

Step 3:

Now depending on your theme you will have a different set up but look for things you don't want.

In this example I will delete Search and Recent Posts from my sidebar.

image.jpg Click on the arrow and the options will come up, then click delete.

One more:
image.jpg Hit the little arrow and then delete.

YOU'RE DONE!
