Is this the correct way to redirect?

I redirect website A to B and the traffic did get passed for a month

But now I want to redirect to website C, should I redirect from A -> B -> C or B -> A -> C

or redirect A -> C and B-> C ?

Well, first of all, try to plan things a bit better.

Double redirects are a no go. So redirect both domains to C.

Site B is basically just a blank domain, which will eventually carry no power.

However, it would take a while until Google realises, that the redirect to B is no longer in effect and that the A is now redirecting to C. So to see the effect of redirect faster, I would redirect both to C.
