Is this normal (PAA + AI)?

I'm running a site wich is PAA with AI generated content. It's a new domain ~4 month old.
For almost all individual sites I see the following pattern with GSC.



The pages are still indexed. But looks like they are pushed out of the SERPs completely for "normal" keywords. Only if I'm searching for the exact content in quotes, or using site: the pages pop up.

Is this normal? Can the pages still rank with enough time? Or does it mean that the content just isn't good enough?

Is your PAA site keeping to a tight topic structure or does it use a broad shotgun approach when it comes to questions and content?

It's normal, and this doesn't apply to PAA/AI but in general.
You only see it on larger scales because of the volume you push.

Once you get an article indexed, it briefly gets pushed to the top so Google can get an idea of where to best fit it in the index.
After this short burst, your article gets way back in line.

Then it slowly moves up in rankings until it reaches its normal spot. This could mean any page depending on the difficulty.

On the oldest PAA website I have, keywords usually reach the first page after 3-4 months. The low competition ones.
Same goes for A.I.

Wait a couple of months to see what will actually be ranking.

@Steptoe I observed this already before the update. Although I believe the update has some impact now.

It’s a normal thing, whenever I post an article, sometimes it appears on first page of SERPs within 2-3 days, after that google pushes it back for a month or two, then it begins to appear again. It’s just Google dance.
