147 designs are enough to start making money... but if all you are doing is uploading them and then waiting for sales, you got the concept of having an online business wrong. You are competing with millions of other designs. Just search your own designs, and you will see that there are 10,000+ others (possibly 100,000+). Do you really think you have a chance of earning money by just hoping and waiting for people to find your designs?
You could wait for years and only make a few sales... (talking from experience)
Instead, focus on selling, and learn how to bring your designs and products in front of people.. Build a large following on social media, in my opinion, Instagram or Twitter works best for designers. Pinterest too, but it's slower, and needs a long-term strategy.
People have money, but nobody is going to find your designs when they are buried under 1000s of other designs. So focus on selling, generating traffic, to your designs, and building a large following (which helps you get traffic). And I mean, you might need 10,20,30 views per month just to make a few sales.
My advice, have at least 10K followers. (that is what worked for me) Then you have a chance of making some decent money, otherwise, you can wait forever... and no money...
Tip. Increase all your product prices (50% will do) + Make sure your designs are unique, prices on Redbubble tend to be higher than in regular stores, people prefer to buy unique stuff online...(they feel OK spending a little more if it's really unique...)

no bro, I just designed some random designs and copy tags from artists on the first page and that's it.
