Not at all mate. Before a week ago all my videos were getting 500K-1 milion views, that means pretty good engagement and right now if i get only 100-200K video views I will ruin the engagement of my account...

BTW, I saw IG updated their app today, do you think they fixed that problem or not? Maybe they will never fix it. That's why I asked here, because there's a people who knows IG from years now.

I am saying IG updates their algo on a daily basis, don't freak out if your having a bad week. Just keep consistent and make sure you keep posting the best content and usually it works out fine.

That's not possible mate. Why? Because the videos are not getting much views. I don't need a videos with 100-200K views that will hurt my engagement... Definitely something is wrong and we don't know what is that thing. I want to ask - Do you think when you grow your page to 200k + followers your posts are not getting the same videos views/likes as before? For example when your account is 100K + ? We can't do nothing about that... Many pages will stop growing. Maybe that's what IG wants to do. If you know something please reply.
 
Ig is only going to get more strict as they are a part of Facebook now. It won't be long until Instagram pages will become Facebook pages.

"Strict"? What do you mean by that? I'm not using any bots, I'm uploading quality content with my phone. But they decided to slow down a lot of pages in my niche

Strict meaning the platform will become more pay-to-play just like Facebook pages and bots will die. They are already dying btw.

It's not FB acquired IG last week. If they were going to make it PTP they would have done at the same time FB became PTP as they've owned IG since 2012.

Will be doing so gradually imo. Facebook pages had good reach until FB shut them down.

Yes I know that. I'm starting to think that maybe August is a busy month... Maybe people are not that active at least in my niche... Still don't know...
 
Just a tip - if you're running a meme account - good chance that a good portion of your audience are in school. Considering this, basically every American kid goes back to school in August meaning they're more busy for now, which could be part of the reason.

I'm in the sports niche. But that may be true tbh. Anyway most of my followers are not a kids. But maybe they are on holiday or just IG is playing with us :D
 
Algorithm has been shit lately, accounts have been getting drained randomly.

It's not irregular for this to happen currently..
 
I'd suggest posting a few mcgre/khabib promos to IGTV. Insta would help promote them to promote IGTV plus that's trending right now.
 
Definitely this is a new Algorithm. Many pages are "dead" now. All that because they want you to pay to keep growing.

@socialtoolsautolikerbot on Telegram. There's a chat too. The owner is here on BHW and their groups are solid. The only group I use now, can't find any others that are worth it.
 
It's been happening a lot since 2018 to be honest, it comes and goes. Just keep posting good content and push people to engage thats the only thing
