Is this legal?

Hello everybody, i've been playing an online game for almost 4 years now, and there was a time when a certain cheat was easy, and everybody was doing it, but it has been a while ago since the game developers fixed that cheat and made it impossible to use, after days trying to figure out how to do it, i finally found a way, so i figured i'll make a program that can do that again (this need to be done after each update), i'm going to make it with online registration, so that people don't just share it for free, and i'm going to make a good looking website with good youtube videos of (before/after) the cheat, and i know how to promote since i know really well the community, but i need to know if it's illegal since the modification of there code must certainly be prohibited, and if that's the case, can i do all this and keep my annonimity? or is there another way to do that or something? some may telle me that the company will probably not sue event if it's illegal, but we're talking about a lot of money here (XX XXX or even XXX XXX dollars).
edit:sorry i don't know where to post this, so i posted it here since there will be a little promotion on youtube for this. but mostly it will be on forums/facebook groups

Its not Legit. How ever When you promote it the Developer Company will be aware that & then they Fix again that Cheating Process.

i'm not worrying about the fix, as i know he company and i know how slow they are, i'm only worrying about the legal side and how to make money from it if it's not

Highly, HIGHLY Illegal! Best to just PM me the game and method and keep it moving.

it's not Illegal to mess with their game as long as you don't mess with their code.

i'm not sure if it's you're being sarcastic because it's ok, or because it's not and you're willing to do it anyway if i ever give it to you xD

sjoerdtop, well, the code is the game, modifying files=modifying the code, or is it not?

Just go ahead and make a video , its legal until the developers find it and fix it.

They will probably ask you to cancel the development and close the site first. But if it does modificate game code they can do even something more.

If that's the case is their any way to get paid while keeping anonimity? And for the info there are 3 version of the game with three differnt companies each one on a continent (i'm on neithrr of the 3), so even if it's illegal, can one of them or all of them actually sue?(the laws in my country are pretty old with no online or digital laws almost), and it depends on what? The country of the buyers? And can i avoid all this by puttibg disclaimer that it is forbiden to change the game code and that the user is entirly responsible for using theh program?or by sayibg that the program is for educationam purpose only (as im sel ling it i dont know if its ok to say that)? their are ways to monetize it without them paying you. it's a lot safer and you will probebly earn more. you can pm me if your interested

I dont see how i can earn more than 30 or 40 euros per download but pm me to see if its more interesting. I cant pm me i only have 7 posts

I think i will try instead of making my program modify the files, i'll make it change the values i want from the process (the ones it get's from certain files), this will keep me out of any copyrighted infrigment i think as i don't have to load the files on my programe to replace the old ones, and as it dosn't modify any game files, the user must have the right to debugg any program so it should be ok i guess, and +, making my program change the values in the process's memory will make it look more professional and interesting, and it will also make me able to offer a free one hour trial or so, so that they see it in action, and also it will be very cool as i can keep the pointers that modify the process's memory on my server, so nobody will be able to avoid paying for it. edit:the only catch is that i'll have to look form the pointer for each version of the game and agter each update of each one of them

You own the RAM and HDD space the data is stored on, you are free modify it in any way you like. The same goes to your customers.
