Of course there's no laws on selling "fans or followers". But selling ANYTHING that is fake as genuine is illegal.

I understand that; false advertising is illegal as you mentioned earlier. However, my response was directed at aashish_1792 who made a ridiculous claim that "selling fans adn followers is illegal"
That's like saying carrying a knife is illegal. Sure, it could be illegal in certain scenarios (and depending on country), but what if someone is carrying a knife in their kitchen lol.

Just don't put anything. Fans are fans whether real or fake. Just don't advertise them as real if you want to avoid any possible legal actions.
I offer them as ''Worldwide Facebook Fans/Twitter Followers''...''Worldwide Youtube Subscribers''...''Youtube Views (over websites and mobile devices
)'' ....and no ''real'' at all...so?Or should I write ''Low Quality Followers'' and ''Low Retention views'''?

Doing the same thing since 3 months, my accounts are still alive. You have to remember not to overdo it and everything will fall into place.

Just do it slowly, if you blast your link 100 times / min (no matter how.. tweets retweets) twitter will mark your URL as spam or will ban your account. Use URL shortener, google for short URL generater, make lots of different URLs and start to spam slowly with different accounts.

The only thing you could be in trouble for would be fraud, and even then you aren't really failing to deliver what you promised. And I seriously doubt anyone would be able to take that case to court and win it anyway...
