Hi,

I have been having tons of links being built for me from bookmarks to articles to wiki to profiles to private blogs networks to linkwheels ... the whole 9 yards.

i wanted to know if there is anything such as over pinging these links... i use lindexed, linklicious and nuclear to ping them and ping recently built links at least for 4 - 5 days everyday using all the services.

thanks for your reply in advance

Yes, it is absolutely possible to over ping. Generally speaking you should only ping your outer tiers of links.

thanks both of you... at what interval should i ping my first level links? most high quality backlinks to my money site

If this is true, then why wouldn't it be possible to get a list of all your competitors backlinks, a huge list of them, and then spam the living shit out of them?

good question! but i have read stories / case study here about blasting competitors only later to find out they started ranking -- on the top.

In that case it is a positive thing. We can't have it both ways.

I ping them once or twice, then i know that they will be in the line for beeing indexed otherwise google will find them later on. You could also build backlinks to your backlinks and ping them to get them indexed faster

Yes i belive this is true, why would you be able to ping your sites thousands of times whitout anything happens?

In my mind, the sites ends up in a que for searchengines and when they are added frequently they could be blocked since it would be considerd spam. I dont know this for sure but thats how i picture it.

Of course your links could be indexed even if you over ping them, it might just take a bit longer
