I heard that some videos are in hd or something that gives this error when trying to convert them from FLV. However, I'm seeing this error a lot now and it's pissing me off! Is there any converter that will work on these files as well?

Thank you!

HD vids are in a mp4 container generally but i heard it's possible to put the streams in a flv container too.

I don't understand your question to be honest

I don't understand your question either. Can you direct us to an example?

Some videos when I try to convert them (tryed on different conversion programs) don't even load. You try to load the FLV file to convert and get the error: width or height is 0
And it wont even open these files. It's happened on several files, some from youtube and some from porn sites.

Have you tried VLC media player? Works perfectly for me.

yes, vlc plays them, the problem I'm having is trying to CONVERT them.

yes, vlc converts them also. that's why i suggested it. lookup transcoding.

Code:
http://wiki.videolan.org/Transcode

Thank you I'll check it out

OK, so I found another video with this error and opened it OK in VLC, but where do you go in VLC to transcode it? I looked through all the menus and didn't see transcode anywhere?

Google ffmpeg
I use it for all of my video converting and have never had an issue with flv
It's primarily command line though unless you use a windows GUI.
I'm on linux however so I cannot help you in that regard.
