Is the domain name important?

Hey guys, after thinking about it for a long time, I've decided that I want to start blogging.
I already have a few good niches in mind. Now I'm wondering if the domain name matters?
Because domains with a good name are almost all gone.

What do you say to that?

Yeah like tiiberius said, its very important for SEO. Maybe try different variations if all the good names are taken?

Domain names are important. But they are not everything.
- Try to find an expired domain in your niche that has some backlinks and history.
- don't worry if your domain name isn't exactly what you want. As long as it's vaguely relevant, it's okay.
- Try to keep it short.
- don't have domain names with hyphens or numbers in them.
 
It's important buddy, As per SEO you can make your brand with the name of the blog. Try to find unique and high-traffic-related one
 
Of course domain name is important.

As most good domain names are gone long time ago, you have to be creative, such as using brand + keyword. Also there are domain extensions, beyond .com, .net and .org. So you can always find a good domain name for your purpose.

Yes domain name and extention both are important, It's create your brand reputaion so why you ignore this? Also short domain is strongly effect on SEO. If you can't find com domain in short you can try other extention too. at 2020 domain provider launch many new extentions.

Domain matters in a way that it will help you in brand recognition.

But it is not important to have domain same as a keyword.

When you start blogging if you do not have domain name same as keyword you will see that it would be much better to have domain same as keyword.
That means when you start promoting your brand it would be helpful to have domain name same as most searched keyword.

When people type the keyword in google they would like to see search result same as keyword because it makes sense and logic to get the result website that have the same name as keyword.

When you type white ball in the google you would like to see white ball domain or similar because it tells you that website talks about what you need.

At the end this is not so important, but helps you in brand recognition.
 
Use ChatGPT or Claude for domain name ideas and try to find .com
 
Whats the current power of exact match domains , any ideas
 
Sometimes I used expired domain with good DA PA,pbn backlink and etc.
my domain names not related with my post,and that's work.
Also I was make some sub domain from that.
