Is SEO bigger than PPC?

Those of us who arrived here before PPC I can confirm that old school SEO* is way, way bigger than PPC.



* Before Google took 99% of the profit for themselves and white hats said fine.

As a PPC guy, I feel like PPC gets quicker results and gives quick insights for the SEO research. In terms of salary, here is Israel I think PPC makes a bit more but it also depends on how good are you. At the end, it doesn't matter if a VP Marketing started as a PPC or SEO, as long as they know both well enough to give directions.
Is SEO better because it's free? Yes. Everybody knows that links, satelite websites and content are free and you souldn't let anybody try to charge you for it.
 

Is SEO bigger than PPC?​

We've seen that SEO click-through rates are higher than PPC, meaning that it has the potential to drive significantly higher volumes of organic traffic your way. In addition, your cost per acquisition (CPA) is going to be much lower using SEO than PPC.
 
Depending on what you want to target.
If you own a e-commerce website, its better to use PPC to target your future buyers.
If you own an affiliate website, it would be a waste to spend $ on traffic that might not convert, SEO traffic is best here.
 
SEO is always cool and long term but PPC is instant :)
 
The basic difference between the two is time if you want to be in the game for long term SEO is the key.
 
SEO for effectiveness and long term growth and expansion and PPC for Scaling.
 
SEO and PPC both have their significant value and role accordingly. However, PPC is the the new Blue nowadays.
