Is RSS Ground The Best Way To Add Content?

I have a site that I use the footer section in the site template to add relevent content to the product pages. This content is usually in the form of a 300 - 400 word article. Because I do not get to change this content often enough, sometime once a month on hot product pages to once a year on other pages. I am looking into automatic content generators.

I have been told that using RSS Ground would be the best way to automatically keep the content fresh. What do you all think? is this the best way to go or is there a better way?
