Is .net .org domain still working for SEO?

Just looked around from google at some specific keyword and found the top 10 are mostly .com domain. Is .net .org still working now?

Ofcourse they work,it just depends with the type of niche,but they work,even the .co works well with google..with good onpage and off page seo,there is nothing that can stop you from getting top 10 rankings
 
Any domain can rank the same way, diference is that a dot COM domine is more user friendly, most people is used to type urls ending in .com

I've .info site ranking in top of the first page, and many others with .com and .net domains are underneath of my domain. So you've my answer :)
 
But would it be EASIER had your .info need an equal .com then? The old wisdom is that .com is viewed by Google as more legit because it's been around longer and most big sites used .com's. Without a side-by-side test it is impossible to tell. I usually try to stick to .com because people seem to remember them better (customers). Branding.
 
As everyone said, they're ok, not as good as .com for branding, but no big difference in terms of rankings.
 
Domain extensions has nothing to do here, It all about their onsite and offsite seo that makes a difference.
 
No SEO effect, but when you Google something and look at the url, you might knowingly or not knowingly 'prefer' the .com results. Thus it would be better for the brand to have a .com, but Google won't discriminate you based on that alone.
 
A .net TLD dominated my keyword for more than 6 months with little backlinks.. The best TLD that works are:

.com, .net, .org, .info and even .ME domains are ranking, what matters now are the anchor text and link structure.
