That really is funny! You're still thinking if that is a scam or not? You think! It happens on text messages too people saying lots of things and asking for money! For I know your father haven't even met the girl yet!
Seriously, talk to your dad and tell him about different scams that happened. He doesn't even know the girl personally he should not send money to any stranger.

hoot33, it is called the "Nigerian Scam" , it's simply like a group of people, pretending that they have issues, like they have 3mill in bank and need money so they can get it out, or they're going to prison but they will pay you triple later n such stuff. These are Nigerians pretending to be females, or males who need some cash and will return much more.
Go to youtube and type in "Nigerian scam" , or Wikipedia and you should find all info about it.

Just get your buddy to call him acting as a FBI agent or something saying "we've noticed that you have been in contact with someone claiming to be this girl.." Make it sound legit by trying to get the information from him to "further their investigation" and tell him not to have any more contact with this person.

yea i am thinking cpa email submits, we could iframe the cpa offers and have like a squeeze page that says input your email to send a letter your congressman to pass a bill. As long as we have 1 email page submit we would make a killing.

Just tell your dad , to go with his gut instinct. As soon as he gets scam, i will push your story on facebook then you simply email the story to the news channel, and just let the money flow in.
