Is it worth posting Reels every single day

I've been posting daily Reels for 2 months now and I'm exhausted. Yeah my account grew from 2k to 6k followers but the quality of my content is suffering because I'm scrambling for ideas. Yesterday I literally posted a video of me organizing my desk drawer to a trending audio just to keep the streak going.

The worst part is there's no consistency - some lazy 5-second clips get 40k views while the Reels I actually put effort into get like 500. And if I skip even one day, my reach tanks for a week. Is anyone actually seeing long-term success with daily posting or should I just focus on quality over quantity?

Totally feel you. Daily posting can burn you out fast, especially when the results are random. I’d focus more on quality and consistency over quantity. Posting 3-4 solid reels a week beats daily low-effort clips that drain you. Algorithms reward engagement, not just frequency. Take breaks when needed your creativity will thank you.
 
Honestly I’d focus on quality over quantity, posting every day isn’t worth burning out if your best content gets buried.

I’ve been there. The algorithm can be unpredictable, and posting every day isn’t always worth the burnout. Focus on quality over quantity 3-4 strong Reels a week will keep your audience engaged without draining you. Plus, better content means better retention, which helps reach more people long-term. Don’t sacrifice your creativity just to keep up a streak.

in as much as consistency matters you should also put in mind quality so you can reduce it from daily posting
 
quality matters over quanity. Make slight changes , you are doing good, just research, analyze and make few changes.

Sometimes, it depends on the type of content that you post. Check the quality of your content and compare it to your competitors'

Regular posting wears off quickly and random clips go viral while planned ones don't so longterm it's better to keep the quality high at a manageable rate

You’re right, I’ve just been draining my creativity to produce random results. I’ll definitely shift my focus to quality over quantity

I also look at many competitors to find ideas for my content
 
Man, that sounds draining! Honestly, it’s about balance—daily posting can help short-term growth, but if it’s hurting quality and your creativity is suffering, focusing on quality might give you better long-term success.
 
I kept a streak for a month and my account grew, but I was dead tired, and my creativity tanked completely
