Because the thing is, with your way you will make the articles good right? Well, if you are writing good articles, you would surely make more returns by posting them on your money sites.

I don't see it as cutting costs by not updating my PBNs. I would rather make the type of website that doesn't need to be updated (think brick & mortar company, organization, software fork, etc.). Simple website with pages only, no posts. Write the entire website in a few hours, make it look like a real business and you're done for the year.

Then you can spend that extra money you saved on more auction domains, which is what really counts in link building.

Just my two cents for readers who are thinking about different ways to do it, good luck anyway you choose

What you do is make the newsite a simple landing page for a fake new news app. Then you have a "resources" part on the homepage with your links. Redirect the old links to the homepage and you're done move to the next PBN.

Not to mention the massive time investment, you’d need an entire team to manage any sort of sizable PBN network. The only benefit would be the potential of monetization if some of the PBNs took off and started ranking... but I really am not sure the benefits outweigh the disadvantages.

That's the objective behind this thread, we need to find the most cost-effective to build a good PBN that can pass a manual review,
And something like that will require a team to do,
and yes, if one of the blogs start ranking in a niche you can monetize it in other ways.

But blocking crawlers doesn’t achieve anything really. Majestic breaks right through the crawler blocks. The only thing mildly effective at actually blocking crawlers is using CloudFlare, which I only use on a small percentage of my network. Many of my links still show up in Majestic, but my domains don’t get deindexed.

The worst that’s happened to me in a few years is that G**gle manually reviewed an MS site of mine, and almost as if they were trying to just piss me off... they didn’t drop the MS... no, they did something worse. They literally went through and deindexed ONLY my domains with exact anchors. They left all other domains indexed -_-;. Needless to say, a few weeks later the site dropped and has now been stuck at #15 for many months.

This happened in about 2017... since then no domains deindexed.

About the Cloudflare thing, I think it's not a huge footprint using CF, most websites are using it, you just need a new account for each website so you don't leave a footprint.

The point is to blend in and look like a real website right? Well answer me this then.

How many businesses around your home have websites?

Now how many of those businesses have an active blog on their website that links out to other pages?

Probably not much because real businesses don't have the same needs as us SEOs and by blogging so much it makes us stick out like a sore thumb.

Throw up a fake business site and have a "Sponsors" or "Partners" section with links. That's more natural IMHO.
