Is it possible to use an Instagram proxy without automation software?

Sorry if this is obvious, I'm new when it comes to automation/proxies. Can you link me a video or a post if it is possible?

Sure, this is why proxies exist and you can use them on any device that has an internet connection.
You should look for how to setup your proxy on a particular device instead.

PS: Instagram proxies doesn't exist.
