Hi,

does using country code tld effect of ranking? i want to .li tld.

like , "contact me" can became contact.me ( smart domain hacks ) , my keyword ends with li.

my competitors are having .com, .net
so, i 'll be not able to outrank them with country code tld?
i dont have much experience with seo, i 'm more of a ads guy.

.li is specific to your country.

So :
1. ensure your servers are there
2. Target your location via all consoles you have, set to specific location.

Personally I only use odd extensions for personal sites or pbns.

It will take you a lot more efforts to rank the website using such domain tld, for sure!

Country based url will rank in your country
Thw second largest website in my country uses country code

Yes. The domain stands more chance of ranking in your country than in the rest of the world

ok. so, i 've to drop this domain & go with commonly use tlds, because my targeted country is different then the country code tld i want to use.

If your target country is different, it will be better to use generic TLDs such as .com, .net, .org ......
