Is it possible to get 1st page rank for a short term?

Hi guys,
I have a one page landing page (a software for website owners). There are +30 alternatives in the market but one of them is has +%50 market share.

I want to get the first page rank for "XXXXXX alternative" keyword.

I already checked the services & vendors on BHW but i also read some "bad" reviews about them. To be honest - i do not believe the positive reviews. They look like fake.

Also i hate the designs of their packages & servies

they remind me 1999.

So is this possible to do some black hat methods to get first page rank for the "XXXXXX alternative" word.

How long is a piece of string?

We don't know what the keyword or website is, so can't tell you if you'd rank or not.

Also, you won't rank by just buying any old service in the marketplace. That's like throwing shit at the wall and hoping it sticks. You need a long term backlinking strategy.

Is it a clickfunnels alternative?

The word is "Disqus" so the target is "Disqus alternative" & "Disqus alternatives"

I am open to suggestions.

It shouldn't be a hard keyword to rank, if... you have already aged, strong domain. Write long, well optimized article targeting this keyword with ranking of some existing Disqus alternatives and place there links to your main service site with offer. This way, adding few, good selected links you should reach top 10 quickly.

I don't think so. The website ranking on the top position depends on many things like competitors, SEO strategies, website structure, content on the website, website’s relevancy, etc. However, it can say that if the site is well developed and implemented all on-page SEO factors, then it needs to be at least 3 months to get ranked.

Getting indexed on 1st page results requires considerable effort & time, mate. Seems like you're in a hurry and that's not a good idea even if you can burn $XXX on links.

I understand that with a basic research - but still, i think there is a way to do that in short term.

It's possible, but it's not really easy.
