Is it possible to block 301 redirection done for my friend website?

Hey Folks,

Looks like someone implemented the negative SEO for one of my friend's website. Negative SEO is in the manner of 301 redirection to the original site.

I have suggested reporting abuse to the hosting provider, complaining to DMCA, tried Rewrite Condition on .htaccess file but still not able to block.

Is there any other way to block them in redirecting to the original site?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Since its controlled on thier website , i dont think you can do anything about it, you can try to see where are they doing it, probably from cloudflare or the host provider and send a DMCA again.

Their hosting provider is GoDaddy but nowadays they are not even taking any action...
Let me see if we can retry sending to DMCA

The first step should always be disavowing the link.

Yes its already been disavowed but do you think that will take into effect for 301 redirection?

But still the anchors and the backlinks are coming from that domain to our site and we are disavowing the same manually whenever we get.

Disavowing a domain means that you don't approve of any incoming links from it. 301 included. The backlinks and anchors are part of the 301 redirect profile. Disavowing a domain means cancelling its link juice too in theory. So it should stop its incoming links too

Disavow is the only thing you can do

The links will be seen in GSA even after the disavow file was sent. It is all about the power of the links that is passed on. If you want to be on the safe side, just add the links that come in along with the domain that was redirected, in the disavow file
