Hi all.

I'm quite new to the whole black-hat SEO thing. But from what I have read black-hat SEO are techniques that are borderline non-ethical ways of performing SEO activities right?

Now i was wondering about AI when someone uses for example Chatgpt to create articles, does it just straight up 'copy' other people's content / articles and rewrites it? is that an 'ethical' thing to do? and can you get in trouble for doing that?

Just wondering how you guys view this point. I always thought that chatgpt is just trained on information and whatever it writes it is always original because it does not copy straight content, but since the AI forums here fall under the blackhat topic does dat indicate something is not too 'ethical' about using chatgpt to create blog posts, articles or just content in general?

You can use AI there is no problem AI use the free content and show it to you and GPT modify and edit many things that you do not know when something might be copy and paste from a copyright website from a free website as long as can access the info is ok and besides that collecting we do not know how much modify the info before showing a result, so don't worry about it, just make it look like your personal opinion about certain things that you investigted from no copyright sources.
 
I may be a pos, but my only parameter is legality. Being ethical is highly subjective. Is it ethical to interrupt every single video on youtube with an ad after another? is it ethical to say that your online store has free shipping but you're charging for it anyways in the product price? is it ethical to be an influencer and using filters in your pics?

Besides, all knowledge is derivative, there's nothing absolutely original. So an article made up by chatgpt isn't that different from writing an essay regards a topic you studied about, you are just regurgitation knowledge you learned, shaping it differently.
 
Buy and resell how to get rich on the internet is what brought us here. Article spinning is nothing new.
 
AI generated text on its own is not even blackhat as Google allows it in their ToS :)
what we do is take it to the next level though hehe

It may not sound ethical. But if you use the information it gives you and change/edit the text so that it sounds more personalized, then you shouldn't worry about it.

Money has no ethic
as long as you are not breaking any tangible and written laws and policies of the websites or whatsoever then just do it

Using ChatGPT for creating blog posts, articles, or content is not unethical, but the intent and quality of the content matter. High-quality, informative, and original content created with AI can be a valuable asset, whereas using it to churn out low-quality, spammy content would be frowned upon in the SEO community. Hope I sound helpful & inform able.
 
I once went to a mental health doctor and told them what I'm doing is not ethical.

They told me if it's legal and all that stuff, no worries.

Afterall, doctors aren't worried about ethics too much.

Are they? :smirk:

Ethics is used as a new name for some random religion like rules and dogmas.

People that worry too much about ethic they have empty fridge.
By the way if you only use chatgpt without adding your own special magic things you will never rank.
