Hey ! I shortened an url 2 days ago and I noticed that its dashboard show the quantity of traffic, the device ... like a tracker, the question is, Can I use it as a tracker for my campaigns ???
Is Google Url Shortener a good tracker ??

True - in my case it didn't work in the first place saying something about spam. There's two solutions:
1)Use custom affiliate tracker link - Peerfly has a blogpost about it.
2)Use another shortener. Bitly works in most cases and Tinycc works with everything. They both have basic stats.

Google Analytics is only a good tracker. Goo.gl can't track fake traffic.

Yes,It;s better because they only count real and genuine traffic.
Often they count BOT Traffic also.
But only if the traffic quality is good to be counted.
So,I think,It's good than any other paid or non paid tracker.

i use a tracker that comes with cpannel good enough for me .
i dont no but i think google anlantics can leave footprints and doing blackhat is bad for google to no .
your domain can get slaped or ban also google can restict traffic from your website.

Depends on what do you want to use it for. There are a few things, which are accurate, such as the amount of clicks, OS, browser, but it doesn't show the referer accurately, even when it should be known, it shows blank/unknown referer often. The country breakdown also lacks big time. For instance with a big enough sample, you can see that more than half of the clicks don't show up in the country stats at all. With that said, you can use it for basic tracking, but you'll find often that it's not good enough.
