Is Google Reversing Effects Of the December Update?

For a couple of days I've been noticing a gradual improvement on my site that was impacted by the Dec 3rd update.

Lost keywords are beginning to appear once again, search impressions increasing as well as traffic to my site increasing.
While it hasn't yet returned to exactly how it was prior to the update, there are gradual improvements noticed here.


Who else is noticing same thing on their site and clients' site?

I am also noticing the same thing. Although in my case, new keywords are the one improving my impression and clicks since 6 days ago while the older keywords that were affected by Dec update remains unchanged.

In all, traffic has improved 25-30%

Possible that update was done to screw publishers as that’s the season to make money from display ads, and publishers wnded up buying google ads to make for lost traffic

It was almost late already. End of 4th quarter, if it were beginning of October, would have said possible.
