Is Google About to Crack Down on AI Content?

that's like asking to tell between a monkey & a bad non-english speaking agent customer service rep
there going to be so much false positives, is it worth for google to actually pull the trigger. No it really isn't.
Just hitting sites here and there will show the "population" they are trying new things and to be wary.
Keeping people in check via fear is better then outright dishing out punishment.

I just made two websites and rank both the sites and now just counting $ these days if you have 80 website you would be earning alot

Totally agree, and even if peeps use AI for research, keeping it human, I feel will always win points not only with the Great God Google, but also with....HUMANS lol

Depends how skillful at prompting and directing it you are. Noobs that produce 2500 word walls of text or walls of bullet points no one wants to read will get hit. If your human reader can tell its AI and doesnt like it, you messed up.

On low effort AI content and farms, yes, they always have.

Absolutely agree with you. I’ve noticed the same trend AI content is booming, but not all of it feels valuable. I also believe Google might shift its stance if low-quality AI content floods the web. Personally, I use AI to speed things up, but I always add my own voice and insights, especially for important pages. That balance feels safer long-term.

My new mantra is... "Stop expecting AI to rank content It can create itself."

Great points—AI is useful, but quality still wins. I mix AI for outlines and drafts, then add human edits for tone, clarity, and depth. It’s all about keeping content real, helpful, and future-proof!

What about SEO plugins? Plugins who creating schema markup, the serps meta description, plugins who submit your content to your social media accounts? Hold on for a second......with the HCU algo google will see this as seo manipulation I guess ?
Better use only these so called fields plugins (or similar name) means under your posts in wp you have fields to fill out for serp meta description and add your schema markup, better us eonly schema plugin not editing serp meta description it will be mroe safe (my theory). Not use plugins to submit your posts automatically to FB, Twitter etc,etc.....google targets automatic plugins too with that demonish HCU update.

By the way, proof the ownership of content; when I have my author bio under each post on my site + my detailed about me page with contact, map, social profiles, a little content policy, is it not enough that I be the owner of the content? I no thave any idea of showing more proof- do you have one?

As far I know, (correct me) when you have a good prompt to let AI write or rewrite a new unique article, then AI is not the owner of that content-that is you.

Some bigger sites more media sites who allwing guest posts have an editorial page. Some have an ethic conduct page, an ethic conduct page is not a direct EEAT sign (more like an indirect signal).

For affiliates- better you write good content aligned with EEAT guidelines, example: your affiliate site has 100 posts of informational content and a section with 20 product reviews or 20 commerical posts about your single product you promote, that will be a good ratio- not the whole website full with product reviews.

Maybe add in your about me page or content policy page, subtle message, that you use a little bit help of AI for reasearch and get idea for headlines. Can't say if showing so much kindness will help you because google is not kind to you (to us all) !

There are good prompts out there in the web space, that will make AI create unique helpful content- aligned with their EEAT guidelines. When you give AI the prompt to rewrite the content on site www.example.com - then you doing it wrong, think about it!

Yeah, write good prompts to get these results is not an easy task. You can have a few 4-5 bullet point in your content will not harm you but an article full with bullet list , that will harm your seo. I think (correct me) in free chatgpt you can add your profile(?) means ; write a little content 200-300 words in your own style., then add this in the chatgpt profile box (is down left side I guess) then gpt will use this style- your own style- in all articles.

And be careful writing heavy controversy content, that is a red flag in google EEAT nowadays. Maybe only slightly controverse as only the title, not more. I think people like Ralph Smart or Teal Swan - their content is somewhat controversy, I think they are hard on the limit not get red flagged in google. Teal Swan has written books, but I not see she has a certificate about her profession on her about me page, it will be critical write about psychologic methods when you are not an psychologist in googles eyes, like with many health and financial websites who are not an expert in their fields (YAML sites) .

This path of content type is very tiny today in google's eyes. And not writing heavy controversy conspiracional politician shit, absolute no go today ! You see what happen with sites like infowar.
