I want to buy a website from godaddy is that site safe for buying a domain and if you have any coupons codes for discounts.

Please let me know.
Thanks

Op godaddy is the safest place to buy domain with coupan code too

Do remember to check the amount before paying

Thanks

I think they are safe, but they supported SOPA, so for that reason I don't use them.

It's not even about piracy, but protecting internet freedom.

I would use namecheap.com

Completely on board with tahworld here. I would use namecheap as well, even if their new site design is unsightly.

I had GoDaddy "steal" a domain from me - it was set to expire in 30 days. I tried to renew it during the last 24 hours, and they made me wait 24 hours before using a new credit card. They owned it for 4 years after that and wanted to resell it back to me for $1,100. No, thank you.

I prefer Namecheap over Godaddy, they don't have cheap coupon but do offer free whois guard for 1st year, that and they don't try to sell you your grandmother everytime you want to buy a damn domain

To me, Godaddy has been great since day one. No problem whatsoever here. But I do use namecheap too.

If you want to register a new domain name, use namecheap since you can get 1 year free whoisguard.

If you want to buy aged domain, look at Godaddy. They hav one of the largest domain name market places and auction services. I once found a 4-year-old pr2 domain name for about $40.

Yes, it is safe. I use both Godaddy and Namecheap - but I prefer namecheap because it does not offer you a lot of upsells. That's just my preference.
