Is Facebook tightening reviews lately?

Hey folks,
Lately I've been noticing that even clean ad setups (new BM, solid domain, fresh pages) are taking longer than usual to get approved — or sometimes just getting stuck in review or rejected with no clear reason.

I used to run similar setups a few months back without any trouble, but now things feel different.
Curious if anyone else here is facing the same lately?

Have you found any workarounds, or is this just part of the usual FB cycle again?

Let’s share what’s working or not lately

Yes. Now campaigns will have to wait longer than before to be approved and activated. I think this is a feature of Facebook to limit campaigns that violate their policies.

meta’s been extra twitchy lately. trust scoring prob shifted backend again. same clean setups now trigger delays just off pattern match alone. u are not alone

Yes, many advertisers are seeing slower approvals and random rejections due to stricter Facebook reviews. Warm up new accounts with small safe campaigns, ensure strong page/domain trust, and request manual reviews if ads get stuck.

Yeah, totally agree.
It feels like FB is putting more friction in the review process across the board.
Even non-sensitive verticals are facing random delays now.
Maybe it’s part of their effort to auto-filter more aggressively — but it's definitely slowing things down for everyone.

Facebook has a new update not long ago. The review process has become more difficult. BH campaigns that were able to get around it before, but now they are not immediately rejected or banned. Their goal is probably to clean up the market.

Yep, I feel that too.
Even accounts with zero flags are facing weird delays — just because they "look" similar to flagged patterns.
Meta definitely tweaked the trust scoring algo again.
It’s getting harder to predict what’ll fly and what’ll get stuck in review hell

Absolutely agree.
Even “clean” setups with warmed pages still get hit — looks like FB's machine review logic is more sensitive than ever.
Manual reviews help sometimes, but lately they’re taking 24–48h or more.
We’ve started rotating more accounts just to reduce downtime.

We’ve also noticed more aggressive filtering even on setups that used to pass without issues.
Seems like Meta is really tightening things up — not just BH, even gray areas are getting flagged.
Could be their way of forcing more “clean” campaigns, but definitely makes scaling harder lately.

Yes, ad approvals are slower recently across the board. Facebook’s tightening policies and increased reviews are causing delays. Using clear, compliant creatives and avoiding restricted content helps, but patience is key right now. No perfect workaround yet.

Absolutely, totally agree with you.
Even with clean creatives and “safe” verticals, delays are still happening — feels like everything’s being reviewed twice now.
We’ve been telling our clients to expect a slower warm-up phase and stay patient. Right now, adapting is the only way forward.

Recently, even clean setups are prone to delays or rejections for no apparent reason. This is a common situation due to Meta's stricter moderation system. We need to slow down, warm up the page and BM first, avoid running direct conversion ads.

Exactly! Even "safe" creatives with good warm-up don’t guarantee smooth sailing anymore.
We’ve noticed even with pre-warmed pages + trusted BMs, there’s still random delays.
Seems like Meta’s moderation model is more sensitive to patterns than content itself lately.

Our reviews on nearly 100+ accounts are good and fast. But the spending is not, it seems FB is preventing us from spending more

Recently Meta has a new update that makes the ads evaluation and spending quite slow, if your account is from a new BM you need to warm it up before using it

Due to FB's new policies and algorithms, campaigns take a long time to be approved, we need to start a clean campaign to warm up the account first then start.

Facebook has a new update, and campaigns will take longer to get approved. You should start with an initial campaign to warm up your account before using it.

Facebook’s stricter review process seems to be the new normal—staying patient and diversifying ad strategies helps
Absolutely agree. Patience + creative diversification is the only combo that still works.
It feels like even good setups need time to build “trust” slowly now.
