Pages alone rarely drive big free traffic anymore.

Exactly, Facebook still works, but you have to play by its rules.
Cold link drops = low reach.
Native content = higher distribution.

Facebook can work for AdSense, but only if you treat it like a real content platform — not just a link drop machine.
 
I think traffic from Facebook is far less converting than from e.g Linkedin
 
I mean it can be. There was a point when it was fairly simple to get working too but fair to say that was a while ago.
A bit of changed strategies and approaches to it is in order though.
Anyway, Facebook traffic can be high volume but lower intent compared to search traffic. RPM may vary, of course.

Yeah exactly, that’s the key point.
It used to be much easier to make it work, but platforms and ad networks have tightened things up, so now it requires smarter positioning and better funnel structure.

Advertising works for sure, but only if it’s done strategically.
A lot of people burn money because they just “boost” posts without a plan.

Facebook audience is quite older so you need an adult for boomers mostly or milenials as most poeples has changed their preference for social media...... if you have an offer for them will be good otherwise may want to check other platforms
