Is buying likes worth it?

There are a couple of threads here in the marketplace to buy likes, either on 1 pic or a monthly service. Now this got me thinking. If you buy these likes, will they get you on the explore page and help you grow very fast? I'm thinking if this monthly service can replace a follow/unfollow bot.

Anyone tried it before?

You created a new account just for this? What's your experience with this and why don't you use your main account?
 
They're good to fake good engagement (people won't like pics with zero likes), but I think you'd need a lot of them to appear on explore.
 
Better to hired some one professional in writing good articles and update social media pages accordingly.

My engagement is pretty good for my account, I just want to grow faster. So hitting explore page is 1 way I guess. I can still remove that picture after 3 days or so.
 
I've experienced with this, I boosted one of my pics on a pet account to 2k likes in the first hour. I got it to the top hashtag, which had 2M results. This didn't get my any extra followers though, barely noticed it. maybe got like 20-30 followers, and 500 extra likes max. It does not get you into explore, explore isn't based on how many views/likes you get per hour. I feel like it's based on your account.

Well i dont really suggest doing that, i rather buy a shoutout than buy likes.
 
Use the search before posting threads. Have seen this exact question being asked like 7 times the last month.

I did, but no one is talking about buying likes to hit the explore page. Maybe I'm just bad at searching, but I didn't find it.
 
Buying a subscription to Massplanner is a better investment to grow you social media accounts.

This is correct, Explore is now based off the same type of content that your account has engaged with in the past. This is what everyone was crying about when they thought their timeline was going to change out of chronological order and was in dire need for notification-on lol

I got a review copy for an autolikes service. Having lots of likes on a picture gets more people to like it in the same way as having lots of followers gets more people to follow you.

I'd have to test this to confirm, but it should be a nice way of "waking up" your engagement until you can consistently get the same amount of likes (e.g. if you're buying 100 likes per upload, can you consistently get 200+ likes per upload in a couple of hours?) then stop it.
 
Likes can definitely help you to grow your account faster, you can go to top hashtag for almost all hashtags (not the biggest, but everything else). But don't buy cheap fake likes, as users would notice it. I guess Instagram also differentiates between accounts with fake or real likes, not sure though.
