The typical pattern. When online companies are launched they need us. Then when they grow, they dump the middlemen that made them.
Google is the prime example of this. First you have nice guy GoogleGuy on forums asking for webmaster cooperation to build the best search engine, then they get into the stock market, everyone's a billionaire and webmasters get their ass kicked, your content shown on their pages for free, infinite rules dictated and fuck you very much.
