Can you sign up for that network using only your Pinterest "influencer" account? Can you pin affiliate links directly? Or do you need a website/blog?

Yes, just add your social media accounts in the website section at Amazon aff site and drive traffic from those accounts. I think you can link directly. But send them message to be double sure.
 
You can contact some car dealers or car insurance companies who are interested in sponsoring content on your website.
