Amazon affiliate is really good, but for pinterest traffic, you need to go for something like Awin aff network. They have better offers for women niches with good commission structure.

Can you sign up for that network using only your Pinterest "influencer" account? Can you pin affiliate links directly? Or do you need a website/blog?

Yes, just add your social media accounts in the website section at Amazon aff site and drive traffic from those accounts. I think you can link directly. But send them message to be double sure.
