Is $150 enough to start a dropshipping business

Hi guys. I've been researching about dropshipping for a while now and im really interested in starting my own e-commerce website. Is $150 enough for a dropshipping business? I thought about buying the least expensive bluehost pan ($3.95 a month), a WP theme (around $69). I thought about a niche but it has high competition, but I still think i could get a chunk of the market and earn a decent amount of money given that my capital is only $150. My problem is marketing my website. I dont have that much money to spend on facebook ads so im planning on increasing my instagram and facebook page followers to promote my website. I've little knowledge on programming and coding.

Im planning on dropshipping from Aliexpress to ship worldwide. Feedback guys! Is it viable? Should I continue or not.

You would need to build a site and get customers with $150, that's a bit of a stretch.
 
thanks but i thought the cost of building a site for host and theme is $120? Im not sure tho. But if that's the case i'd still have $30 for FB ads then the rest will be from Instagram and pages. I can work for it 24 hours.
 
Yeah, it's not really a budget to get things going.. I would suggest to save some more and invest time in learning stuff that can save you money in the longrun (like design, marketing, etc. skills).
 
maybe my second option is selling on ebay, per country not the US one. I dont think there's an upfront cost for that.
 
You'll fuck up your 150$, nothing to say.
BTW, you can get WP theme for free and 3.9 isn't really the cheapest hosting on earth, not even close to it (I think you could get a VPS for 4 bucks, though it won't be very powerful), but your problem, as everyone else here already suggested, isn't this hosting & WP shit but marketing.
As for Ebay, I never worked w/it so maybe some one else can tell more.
 
i appreciate your comments. Im gonna research other ways of making money online with minimal upfront costs instead of dropshipping like being an affiliate or something
 
I think you can stick to your plan, just watch out the money you toss into some experiments. Take time to look into your traffic and see the buying potential. Working as an affiliate for a product that sells itself may not be a very hard thing if you know where exactly your customer is coming from. Keep doing what you are doing, Keep learning.
 
Maybe instead of spending money of FB ads, go for the longer term investment of good SEO which will provide free traffic?
 
I would suggest you to think about your skills and then register to Fiverr.com / iWriter / Upwork / Freelancer and etc. Gain some money through them for a couple of months and then invest. You can try to sell some stuff through ebay or other methods from here. Maybe investing in a good VPS and Massplanner is better idea If you wish to drive traffic to your website :)
 
Here on BHW, you get quality hosting for $2/Month and on NameCheap, you may get a domain for $10 or less, so you can get hosting for less than $5 for 2 months and domain for a year for $10, so you can spend other $135 on ads.
 
1.NameCheap Domain=$10.69 a year

2.Namecheap Hosting=$9.88 for the first year(38.88 a year the following)

Now you have a website for a year atleast,then you can buy whatever you want if you want to actually purchase(people say buy buy buy but honestly free options on wordpress are pretty good if you know how to research them)


Once money starts coming in and you feel the need to swap around then you can but the major key is to get started.
 
I think you can be enough with that amount. Look for cheap services on fiverr to save money.
 
It depends on what you want to sell I guess. Larger profits will require larger investment
