After a month-long vetting process, we're finally ready to announce our four new moderators-in-training. We only had a limited number of slots we could, and whilst there were some close calls, each of the MITs below have demonstrated that they have what it takes to moderate the community both to and perhaps even beyond the standards we have now.
@Heiko
Since he joined in 2016, Heiko has displayed a great attitude around the forum and his always shown a keen interest in improving the community. He's also on-the-ball when it comes to spotting changes and issues around the forum.
@javabro
Despite his busy schedule, Javabro spends a surprising amount of his time helping make the community better through reports and posts. His helpful demeanour across the forum is one we're sure will extend into his duties as a moderator-in-training.
@Veil123
A helpful member who you may have noticed answers questions to guide new members across the forum and most notably in the newbie guide section. Veil123 is a member who has also been reporting rule-violating content here for years.
@Sephrata
Many of you are familiar with Sephrata's detective work on the forum. He's dedicated much of his time here toward helping keep the forum clean from spammers, scammers, and previously banned members with his thorough research.
For those of you who didn't make it this time around, your continued support will be included in any future reviews of your subsequent applications. Do note that we appeciate the efforts all of you make to help keep the community clean as members of Black Hat World.
We're always on the lookout for potential MITs. If you're interested in becoming an MIT, apply using the staff applications page.
