Hi All,

My story isn't unique in the slightest, just thought I'd write a catchier intro title than " Hey, I'm New Here" or " My Intro". Been lurking here for a while, reading, absorbing, and making half-assed attempt at creating my own little internet ventures.

A bit about me: I work full-time in-house for a company as an SEO, but know that I should be putting my skills to use to make myself my own boss. I have a small amount of experience in SEO/PPC SMM, and the various things that are required inorder to be half way decent at what it is that we all do.

I'm hoping that participating on this forum will lead to a few things for me:
  • Learn : I know that there is a metric shit-ton of things out there that I know nothing about, and that there are people on this board who have a lot of things that I can learn from.
  • Freedom: My goal isn't to make $$$,$$$$ overnight but to rather build up several methods that make $$, $$$ , or $$$$ per month and then scale them. With that comes the freedom to not work Monday-Friday.
  • Patience & Dedication: In reading some of the more established members posts here, I know that I'm going to have to put in serious work if I want anything to be successful.
  • Contribute: I hope to help others learn because I believe that it's possible to be successful and help pull others up with you.
Tl:DR- I'm not special-just want to get more better at the internet marketing thing.

Thank you for reading, and I look forward to getting to know some of you on this journey as well. I hope all of your sites rank, and you stay forever ahead of Big G's stupid animal updates. Cheers!

What a clickbait title we have here.

Welcome and good luck! :)

I'm not sure if you realize you're being an oxymoron. :D (:

There seems to be a trend on here where titles of posts have nothing to do with the actual content

My apologies if the title was too "Click-Bait". Would it have been better if I asked a question, because I'm not here for the pat on the back, I want to learn & get better.

I have a site that currently ranks well for a very niche science vertical, but haven't found a great way to monetize it. I have adsense up, and have been soliciting companies in this space for "paid listings" or " company profiles" but it hasn't been very successful. My question is- should I ramp up efforts to this niche site or start from the drawing board with a domain that I have already purchased?

Wasn't trying to be a special snowflake, just thought it might get more attention than writing " Hi my name is". If there was a format to follow I did not see it.
